2: Strict implementation of international environmental laws and regulations

1: Restriction of hazardous substance

EU countries announced in January 2003 that the use of heavy metals such as lead (PB), mercury (Hg), cadmium (CD), hexavalent chromium (Cr + 6) and flame retardants such as polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) must be prohibited for all electronic products sold in the EU market. The sale and use of products containing these harmful substances in the EU market will be fully implemented on July 1, 2006.
